What I Want to Say

It’s been a tumultuous year for the world. From Brexit to Trump, from one terrorist attack to another – the world seems to be losing itself in a right mess. Personally, I’ve felt that loss myself too. Which is why today I want to say something to you. Something different.

Today, there won’t be any how-to’s, any quotes, or any tips. Instead, there will just be pure truth from the bottom of my heart. Because I want to say it. I need to say it. I have to say it for my own sanity and peace.

We will get through this. We will survive. We will grow stronger. We will fight harder. We will stand together. We will hold each other tighter. And, more importantly than ever, we will love fiercely.

I believe in the power of love and I believe in the power of humanity. I believe in the greater good and I believe there is more good than bad. I believe in creating a happier, more loving, and more peaceful world. And, most importantly, I believe in all of us creating it together.

I know, that on paper, these things might sound naive and ambitious. But I also know, now more than ever, that it is more possible than ever.

The more violence there is, the more peace fighters there are. The more people try to break things down, the stronger the foundations become. The more barriers that are put up, the more unanimously people stand.

This is the age of love and nothing can break it down.

Love yourself, love your loved ones, love your community. Love your successes, love your learnings, love your life.

Love fully and wholeheartedly. Love boldly and unashamedly. Love with confidence and faith.

Love with presence, love with meaning, love with power. Love not hate, love not anger, love not fear.

Because, in the end, I want to say, there is nothing more powerful than love. Remember that – always.

With love, light and happiness,

x Susanna

    Hi Susanna

    Wholeheartedly agree.
Love is your true essence. Love is who you are.

    Have a lovely day.

This is beautiful Susanna. Thank you for being a voice of reason in the midst of this horrible time.

I also feel that we need to acknowledge the source of love – our Creator, God. I know that not everyone believes in a Creator, and that is fine – everyone has free will. But I don’t think it would hurt the world right now to try to reach out and try to believe in Him. I think the world is at a crisis point and we need to acknowledge that we need help and we cannot do it all ourselves – we need a Higher Power. I have heard this phrase a lot lately: “our thoughts and prayers are with them”, and so they are. Please do love, and please also pray. Blessings on your day.
