I haven’t always been the Happyologist. I haven’t always known how to find happiness. It’s something I chose to become and something I chose to learn. I never was a natural optimist or positive thinker. I was always the one who could see flaws in things and think of ten things that could go wrong with any situation. But I didn’t want to stay in that negative place. I didn’t want to be a natural pessimist. That’s why I trained myself into an optimistic and now my insights on how to find happiness help others to do the same.
When I look back on my proactive happiness journey so far, there are six things which continue to amaze and inspire me. These are the six things I want to share with you.
Three of these are simple lessons which debunked the happiness myths that held me back from finding my happy self.
Two of these are practical tips which gave me epic happiness “AHA” moments and epiphanies that completely reshaped my life. These are the tips I keep coming back to every single day.
One of these is a powerful, transformative habit which was the first habit I embraced when I embarked on my new happiness journey – and it is the one habit I always go back to when I’m feeling stressed or low.
