Three Tips For A Happier Personal Brand

I used to think personal branding was dull and so not for me. I despised the idea of creating a personal brand to represent myself and I was even less interested by the idea of managing one. That is how I felt until about three years ago.

That is when I realised that a personal brand isn’t necessarily something you have to create or manage in a pre-calculated, project management style. When done correctly, a personal brand is simply who you are.

It’s you shining your authentic self from the bottom of your heart. It’s you feeling, thinking and speaking your truth. It’s you being the real you.

When I understood that, I got excited. I realised a strong, effective personal brand was me being my best self wholeheartedly and unapologetically. And by working on myself and better connecting with who I was, I was working on my brand.

I was reminded of my journey to this healthy, happy relationship with my brand because I have been preparing for a live personal branding workshop in London next week.
